Role Overview
As a Sales Engineer at SparkMagic Technologies, you will bridge the gap between cutting-edge engineering solutions and our customers’ technical requirements. You’ll drive revenue by presenting our portfolio of software and hardware products – such as Qt, PTC Codebeamer, Incredibuild, Wowza, and SimuQuest tools – while managing outreach through email campaigns and discovery calls.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Business Development to qualify leads and map customer needs to SparkMagic’s solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations (both in-person and virtual)
- Respond to inbound inquiries via email; craft targeted email campaigns to prospects.
- Conduct outbound calls to introduce products, schedule demos, and follow up on proposals.
- Prepare proposals, RFQs, and proof-of-concept plans in coordination with engineering teams.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison during the sales cycle and hand off to delivery teams.
- Maintain accurate opportunity and activity records in CRM
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience in a customer-facing technical sales or pre-sales engineering role is an added advantage
- Strong understanding of embedded systems, model-based development (Simulink/FMI), and software toolchains
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident on sales calls and email outreach
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously

Pre-Sales Executive (PTC Codebeamer)
Location – Bangalore, India (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Pre-Sales Executive with deep expertise in PTC Codebeamer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience with the tool and a passion for working with clients to demonstrate value, design solutions, and drive adoption of modern Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices.
Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement: Collaborate with prospective customers to understand their business challenges, requirements, and goals.

Solution Demonstration: Deliver high-quality product demonstrations, proofs of concept, and workshops showcasing the capabilities of PTC Codebeamer.

Requirement Mapping: Translate client requirements into technical solutions using Codebeamer’s features such as requirements management, test management, risk management, and compliance tracking.

Proposal Support: Work with the sales team to prepare RFP/RFI responses, solution documents, and technical proposals.

Value Communication: Clearly articulate the value proposition of Codebeamer in the context of digital engineering, compliance, and end-to-end ALM.

Technical Consultancy: Provide pre-sales technical consultancy and ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, aligned with customer needs, and feasible for implementation.

Collaboration: Partner with internal teams including sales, delivery, and product specialists to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to project execution.

Market Intelligence: Stay updated on ALM trends, industry standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE, DO-178C, etc.), and competitor solutions to position Codebeamer effectively.
Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of direct hands-on experience with PTC Codebeamer in pre-sales, solution consulting, or implementation.

Strong understanding of ALM concepts: requirements engineering, test management, defect tracking, risk management, and compliance.

Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulations (e.g., automotive, aerospace, medical devices).

Excellent presentation, communication, and client engagement skills.

Ability to design and deliver compelling product demonstrations and workshops.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a consultative mindset.

Willingness to travel for work assignments within the city and across India.
